Our History

Liz Pie Pastry was started in search of a side job. Unsuccessful job applications and career disappointments inspired the decision to apply my skill of baking and make something of my own.

I have 10 years of experience in baking pies, acquired from dedicated hours in the kitchen at a very young age watching, learning, and helping my mother. Now I continue to dedicate my hours in the kitchen, baking and packaging our delicious, appetising, meat, fish and chicken pies, cream puff, and chin-chin nourished down with our multi-nutrient sweetened zobo drink.

My first attempt to deliver to customers was at my local church, the responses were astonishing and mind-boggling. The business has expanded since then. In May 2023 I brought my brother Elijah into the business as co-owner, who works to optimise customer outreach and look for new opportunities.

The business has a reputable team, regular customers, and a five-star food hygiene rating from the local authorities.

Liz Pie Pastry looks at competitors as inspiration, the accessibility that Greggs established, inspires the plan to build a friendly physical presence in neighbourhoods across the UK, and digital encouragement to be at the heart of every community we serve.

The business will be expanding the food menu, to a balanced choice range, which includes vegan & vegetarian options and other dietary choices.
